Hi everyone - I’m interested in buying a condo in a building of three flats that have all been foreclosed. The first buyer is required to setup a new condo association. I’ve heard from some friends that it’s difficult to get a mortgage when there is no association setup. Has anyone had experience with this kind of situation? I’m in chicago so I’m also looking for recommendations of mortgage brokers/ banks that you may know of.

Has anyone out there ever tried??… I don’t mind if the suede texture goes completeley flat… (it’s sort of flat now).
I ruined a brand new pair of pink suede costume shoes by dropping a spot of cooking oil on one them - it cleaned off OK with a suede cleaner, but a bit of colour came off too….
Cannot find fusica pink suede dye on web or ebay search.
I know that renovating leather shoe polish is great for reviving colour on leather shoes and it’s available in pink - I also found pink satin shoe dye and silk paint… wonder if this might do alternatively?

P.S.
From experience I know that suede shoes never really regain that ‘as new’ velvetyness with wire/rubber brush… and yes, I know that suede shoes in a pink shade would go grubby & manky in time but I haven’t even worn them yet!! *sniff*

I know from working at AE that some stores have store credit cards you can apply for. With some, like AE, you get a 15% discount on your first purchase with the card, then go home to pay it off online without being charged interest yet, cut up the card to never use it again, and ACTUALLY SAVE THE 15%! So, I am currently in the market for a new 40″ or 42″ flat panel TV (LCD or plasma depending on price). I am wondering if anyone knows of any stores that offer credit cards which can be paid off right when you go home so no interest is charged and sells flat panel TVs like I described. Thanks!

I asked the girl to consider carefully before giving me a deposit to secure the room of £220,as I had to ask another tennant to leave. She has not moved in as she now says the fridge is too small !! Do I need to return her deposit or do I keep it for costs incurred and lost rent as a result ?

This weekend my BIL came over to help us renovate our kitchen. He’s in construction so this was a HUGE help, and he also brought some materials from his company free of cost too us. Unfortunately he also brought his two sons, aged 6 and 9. I have three, all younger. What a chaotic time in our small house in the middle of winter for 2.5 days!! The kids played alot and watched movies with a relatively small amount of supervision, as I was often busy in the kitchen, making enough food to feed all these kids and the workers (a couple other family members too). They left last night, and this was when I discovered that despite my very strict warnings to be careful around our brand new, 37 inch flat screen, gift to us for christmas TV, I found scratches on the screen. A teenage sister who helped keep an eye on the kids one of the days says that the boys did it (playing swords) and ignored her when she told them to stop. How do I tell my SIL without sounding like I’m attacking her?
Or should I just forget about this? They also broke my daughters’ magic wands that they were playing swords with, despite my mom warning them to be very careful and stop. My SIL is a dear friend and I just don’t want to jeopardize our relationship. I just don’t even know how I’d approach this or word it.
