I’ve asked many people this, and we all come to the same conclusion:
We don’t know WHY.

Why in the world, when there is a limit as to the number of pics to sell a home, that the Agent takes pics of CORNERS of rooms. You know, two walls that come together into a “V”. Sometimes, just a flat wall with a hole-in-the-wall a/k/a a winder…sometimes with ugly windows, sometimes just “there”.

What is the significance? What is the thought process behind some of these totally unnecessary pics? We aren’t talking some fancy window treatments, unique flooring or a ‘wow’ ceiling above.

Just plain jane corners that do absolutely NOTHING for the Buyer (or for the Seller, quite frankly).

Are we missing something there? Is the Agent just in a hurry? Is the Agent disinterested in truly locating unique areas of a home to highlight? Are they just not into securing a quick sale with highest commission?

Tell me, tell me PLEASE!

This has been bugging me for over 5 years.

I want to buy a house but obviously not at the moment. I am in a good position regarding rent, I only pay £50 a week for a lovely 1 bed flat in the city centre, so the longer I stay here the more of a deposit I can save, whilst waiting for prices to reach their lowest point. I know nobody can say for certain but when do you think they will reach rock bottom - 1 year? 18 months? I guess I should hang on for at least another year?

My husband,my 2 months old baby and I live in a flat rented through the agency. We found a mold growing in our flat and our bedroom: wardrobe,bed and carpet smells of mould and damp plus it damages our property and has got impact on our health! Tomorrow environmental people come to check on the property. My question is: have we got rights to ask the council to relocate us for the time being to an emergency flat without mold? Or is it up to our agency to sort out this problem. However I have looked on the agency website and there isnt anything that seems more suitable for us? Could you tell me please what are my rights and who i should request a new place to live from as our current flat is inhabitable. Thank you for all answers!!!

the question i had was about mixolydian keys. i see this song that has one flat in its key signature ( F major) and a side caption says its C Mixolydian. My old teacher explained it too quick when i had this other question and when ever i call him hes trying to sell me more friggin lessons.. I ve also seen 1 sharp ( G major) meaning A dorian according to the side caption. I know that in a blues a major seventh sounds stupid, but im not sure how you approach it with all the modes and chord numbers. also would the “normal” keys be called Ionian keys?

That is unfair? If someone is renting a flat or house, means doesn’t have house or money to buy one? The tenants usually are poor, and on top of that they have to pay the Council Tax, which I think is the highest in the World( as far as I know or comparing the countries I was living in) (I pay £148.98 per month, London UK) I think Council Tax should be included in the rent and be taken from the property owners? What do you think?

My rent has gone up considerably but inflation has gone down. I need to see if the new rent proposed is a fair rent.
Is there a government site in the UK that has rents for non private rents?
