Sell House Quick
apartment repair

I’m due to renew my lease today. For about 1/2 a year I have been dealing with leaky ceilings. I want to give my landlord the benefit of the doubt. If I sign my lease today and later on down the road my landlord doesn’t make the necessary repairs is there any way I can get out of my lease legally?

renovate flat

Opposite the house that I want to buy, a developer has bought 4 smaller houses on the same street and will likely to renovate them.

My question is: In your experience, what normally happens to a property’s price when nearby properties are being revamped to higher standards? What if there are new houses or flats being developed on the same street?

We need £1000 in 2 weeks for rent and a deposit on a flat, looking for ideas to raise this money, we don’t have anything really to sell, and our wages don’t come in till end of next month, and can’t borrow off anyone…. not interested in these quick fix scams so none of them…

I’ve told them 3 times about the leak to no avail, and it continues to worsen. Now the roof is caving in, with chunks falling on the floor directly in front of my front door (outside my apartment, but in the building). I think mold is beginning to grow and I’m concerned someone will be hurt, along with it possibly coming into my apartment. The roof has had this problem before and they “fixed” it. Since they won’t repair it, what can I do?

The Leasehold aparently states that I cannot rent out my flat even though I own it outright. I relocated now to another city and I cannot afford leaving my flat empty. is it Legal to have this article in the Leasehold? I never signed on anything like that.

Thanks.
