I ordered a flat screen LCD tv through Sony, who is a vendor for the company that I work for and we sell their products. It’s being shipped via BAX Global. It left Long Beach, California, destined for Atlanta, Georgia on 10/22.

It took two days to show up any info on the tracking #, because Sony states ahead of time that they recycle their tracking numbers. It departed from Los Angeles, California at time “0100″ on October 22 on the tracking. Next to that, it has a “remarks” field which says “ETA ATLANTA 0000/24.”

In Los Angeles, California…there was an “exception scan” performed on the 21st. So basically, there is a star next to that particular activity and below, it explains “* There is an in-transit exception noted for this shipment. Contact BAX Global at (800) CALL-BAX for further details.”

What does all of this mean? How quick is this BaxGlobal company? I’ve never even heard of them. What means will it be delivered by? Just some unknown shipping truck via this weird third party shipping company?

I really want to secure this nice apartment for $615 a month. I met the manager and she mentioned she will wait until my application is approved and she will hold the apartment for me. I told her I always pay 3 months of rent in advance and I also listed the past 2 landlords I had rented from where I did just that. So I have good references, and I get about 4800-5000 every 3 months for disbursements for school, which I provided documentation of. HOWEVER, I also have HORRIBLE credit like in the 400’s and over 10 derogatory accounts, and I do have a bit of a criminal history nothing HUGE but i did get a felony theft conviction and was put on conditional probation. So when asked on the application I left the part that asks about criminal history blank but I also stated to her that i do have a felony. And I did mark that I have established retail credit, because I have been good on my student loans. So what are the chances I will get this apartment?
And the theft was for writing NSF checks on my own account, and my credit is so bad because of several nsf checks, and one default credit card, and an auto loan in collections. But i do have about 4 good accounts.
and that 5000 is mostly grant/scholarships and a little bit of student loans

Contribute more to 401K, increase savings, buy a house etc? I have paid off my car loan. I have paid off all credit card debt. I have no other existing debt such as student loans or loans of any type including a mortgage. I rent an apartment. My rent is not that expensive. I am not that passionate about the idea of buying a house, although if I were told it’s the next best step to securing a steady financial future I would do so. I am a 33 year old single woman with no children. My employer does match my 401K at 9% of my income (vested after 5 years of employment). I contribute 5% currently.

Ive asked this question before and I’m not sure if i gave all the information last time. We have an 88 truck (I’m not sure which brand). The two tires on the right side are both flat and the truck cant be moved. The problem is that the lug nuts on the tires are so rusted on we couldn’t remove them to replace the tires. The truck didn’t pass emissions (not to mention the tag is expired) so the truck cant be taken to a facility. DW40 does not work, i cant emphasize that enough. it just doesn’t work. My question is what would be the cheapest (as we have no money) but most effective and quickest way to fix these tires? What are other options if the method doesn’t work? Maybe give price estimates? This truck needs to be fixed and sold by July 09, as I am going to school over in St. Louis (i live across the river) the week after the 4th of July.
Well we tried with one of those 4 way wrenchs. My dad says he stood on it and it still wouldnt turn. We are trying to get one of those automatic gun things but hav had no luck.
Ive heard PB Blaster before but my dad is the type to say he will do things and not do them, but I will run to get some.

Let’s say im not working and i’ve got money saved (let’s imagine i’ve got a large amount of money) and i’m earning interest on that saved money, do i have to pay tax for it? If yes, how much?

And another question, is it true that when you buy a flat in England and you want to rent out the flat that you bought, you have to pay 33% of tax of the money that you earn to the government?
