Can I request the repair list for my apartment building?

I’m moving out of my apartment and my landlord is accusing me of damages that I didn’t make. (A water pipe burst inside a wall - they’re claiming my washer overflowed.)
Is there any way I can request the repair list to my apartment complex to prove that this has happened several times before? And who would I request it from?
Thanks and God bless….

there is no repair list for your apartment.I am a landlord and a repair list is not required, unless the repairs are court ordered as the house is unsuitable to live it . Is the washing machine yours? or did it come with the apartment. if its yours, you may be at fault. i am not sure.Who hooked it up? i deal with rental property and if a pipe broke in one of my walls and flooded downstairs i would have to pay,,that’s why we have insurance for these things…. I am pretty sure that the landlord is responsible, unless he can prove you did something wrong, but if the pipe is in the wall its his burden. if it overflowed can he prove it? take pictures. document everything, get estimates from plumbers, and next time get renters insurance. another example is that if a hot water heater in my rental apartment overflowed or malfunctioned leaking causing damage to the apartment below, the landlord is at fault. The pipe inside the wall is not your pipe, unless you had it serviced or altered it yourself in some way. good luck.
Well, you are free to request such a list, but your landlord doesn’t have to provide one.
If you know that the pipe has burst in the past, find witnesses, and get signed affidavits from them. That will entitle you to go to court to recoup your security deposit.
I’m not sure how a washer overflowing could cause a pipe to burst though. You may want to contact a licensed plumber to ask questions on if that is even possible. If it’s not, see if the plumber would be willing to appear in court for you to get your security deposit back (and ask, in the filing, for the fees you need to pay for your professional witness as well).
You can ask for anything you want- but they do not have to give it to you.
Your only recourse is to fight it in court. By law, they must give you a detailed list of what they are charging you for and you have a legal right to depute it.
