Dried carpet glue by eHow Friend
Our church was putting down carpet and a worker tracked green carpet glue over the carpet (it wasn't noticed till the next day). We were able to remove the glue with a product called Goof-Off. We just wet the corner of a rag and scrubbed it off. Worked great!

Also try goo be gone smells great

Hope this works Goo Gone is at walmart, home depot ect.

Good Luck
