apartment repair

My cat loooves to scratch at the carpet at the door of my apartment. She has completely torn up the carpet at the corner of the door. It’s like down to the wood. The carpet type is the berber stuff, I don’t know. But I was wondering how much would that cost to repair? Do I have to pay to just get that spot repaired or do I have to pay for the whole place to be re-carpeted in the apartment??
Ok, so if I had to re-carpet the whole place (after living there for not even a month and with my name not on the lease), how much would it be? It’s a 3 bedroom apartment (only the closet and bedroom door are scratched up). The whole place is about 1500ft. So, I’m asking how much would that approximately cost for berber carpet???
