Hi
I am renovating my flat and by looking at different contractors it seemd Eastern European Plumbers and painters/decorators are much more cheaper but I have no idea how much reliable they are and who to hold if somwthing goes wrong after sometime as these people dont have any fixed business address.
Thanks

You can hire a licensed one or………………….
shoot the dice.
Hope you don’t crap.
Find a local company that has been in business for a long time. Make sure they are bonded/insured. Ask them for references and talk to the people they have done work for before. They will charge you more for their reliability and better quality work but that is better in the long run than to risk getting scammed by some fly-by-night company just to save a few bucks.
Another good sign is if the contractor has a waiting list. This means he is so reliable people are willing to line up and wait for his services.
what a stupid question !! you know urself that foreign workers that come into our contry carnt do anything right !! apart from open corner shops or take aways !! so why would u want one in to do ur plumbing to save a couple of quid ! stick to the brits who have trained hard and deserve the custom !
be carefull
