will i be liable for a broken window that got repaired at my apartment?

i was moving furniture around in the bedroom of my apartment. All was well until I moved the big queen size bed -_- I put the bed up in a vertical position and the metal part hit the window and broke it. I called the apartment complex to send someone to cover it at least asap, but no one ever came. So I called an emergency glass repair service and they repaired it immediately. Will I get into trouble? I already took care of the repairs.
thanks!

I am an apartment manager and I would of charged you for the broken window if we fixed it. Being that you took care of it there should be no problem.
I’d check your lease / rental agreement. If it state “all work is to be prerformed by the apartment management or person’s they send in to repair damage on their behalf.” Then you could have a problem, but I would call them so they can cancell the repair call - you do not want to be billed for an unecessary call. Further more, once they realize it is ” an emergency” for your own safety, they probably won’t worry about this. Remember, when you are renting it is the landlord’s responsibility to provide this safe building environment as to not put your personal safety at risk, or your belongings.
