where is the nicest area to rent a flat in Trieste, Italy?

I’m looking for a nice new and modern flat in Trieste, Italy. I noticed that the city centre is a bit crowded and full of rather old buildings. So I wonder if there is a neighbourhood or a suburb further away, which is a bit better from this point of view.

Of course there are suburbs, like for any town.
In Italy, central buildings are always old as it is forbidden to destroy the external walls of old buildings, but many old buildings are “restructured”, that is the interior is completely rebuilt, while keeping only the external walls.
Usually, while in town there are detached houses for top class people and apartment buildings for middle class people, in suburbs there are villas for top class people, detached houses for middle class people, and apartment buildings for working class people.
However, two rather new suburbs of Trieste are “Villa Opicina” on the North and “Aquilinia-Stramare” on the South.
But don’t keep my words as definitive; ask in Italian on, and you will get a lot of answers.
