any property to rent/let on portland in dorset uk?

Hi I am looking for and 2/3 bedroom house on portland in dorset and am struggling to find one at the moment. Ive been through the echo and the internet and am only finding flats. The landlord/landlady must accept children as I have a near 3 year old and a baby on the way. We are desperate to move to Portland as we moved off the island to Weymouth almost two years ago and now my son starts school in September we wanthim to go to school there and also because our landlord is looking to sell his house and we cant afford to buy it. Deposit and refs no problem. please reply if you have somewhere on portland to rent in the very near future i.e ASAP or know of anyone who has somewhere to rent on Portland.

hi i live in easton square, not all estate agents do credit checks and i can definately say that the credit check is done on your name only and not the address you live at the addresses that are given to a credit reference agency is only to check that you are registered on the electoral register which proves to the credit reference agency that you have a credit history, the only possible explanation for why u keep failing credit checks could be because you have defaulted on your previous credit commitments or you may have county court judgements, have you tried PORTWEY PROPERTIES in weymouth by the town bridge next door the kings arms or you could try REAL DIRECTIONS next door to lloyds bank in easton square there is also an estate agent in fortuneswell or you could try our land lady she has loads of properties you can get her number by going onto and then type in the saerch bit roberts food service then put in the location part weymouth and it will then give you the number and ask for angie roberts when you call, anyway good luck house hunting
