Are the prices of flats to let in the UK negotiable?

If you go to an estate agent and see something to rent that you like, is it normal practice to negotiate on the price? Or is the price quoted never negotiable?

Not really…if you’re not going to pay, someone else will.
you can try to negotiate but for the nicest apartments it’s often the case that there’s other people after them as well so by trying to drive a hard bargain you might end up losing it … but I wouldn’t want to put you off feeling your way with the estate agent as to whether there’s any room for negotiation
