I have looked on a few web sites but they either come up blank or with a house share… I dont want that…. Im not a student!!

If you get out the Golden Pages and ring some of the Estate Agents in the area, not all estate agents use websites so you could be lucky.

Apply to the local council for that area and join the list. If you are renting at the moment and tenancy is about to end ask them for a section 21 or a notice to quit (these are avaliable to buy from WH Smith) or if you rent with a council housing association you can go to your local council and ask for the exchange register who have people all over the uk who want to move somewhere
in the UK. There is a website called homeswap. I live in greater London and they had a scheme where you could move to Coventry if you lived in London and move in to a three bed house even if you live alone. 02087705000 try them and ask for housing advice. It may not be avaliable to you if you dont live in London but it’s worth a try.
