The thing is I am currently staying with my boyfriend but I need to get out as things are not working between us but I am really struggling to find a flat for rent in Oldham or Lancashire. Any Advice of where I could go? Thanks

Estate agents can help but it will be pricey. You will be paying off some greedy b*stards mortgage for them, so you might as well get your own.
Try Sanctuary Housing Association, they have a converted mill in Ashton under Lyne, there a flats available in there and it is only 5 miles at most from Oldham.
