Also, most leases are for a year, and you will have a hard time finding a roommate for just 3 months, especially considering that you aren't from the states. So unless you're looking at expensive properties, it's going to be tough to find a typical apt in a nice area that is reasonably priced. If it were for the summer months, it might be easier, when kids return home from college, and apts may be available from June - August. What you may end up in is a furnished corporate apt or long stay motel, like Oakwood Gardens: or Extended Stay: Google: corporate apartments Los Angeles and short stay apartments Los Angeles Good luck!
