I’ll be moving out of my current apartment soon and during the course of opening and closing the bedroom door over carpet without clearance, the bottom of the door is starting to “splinter”. More specifically its the super-thin wooden sheet on the surface of the door thats begining to come off in random patches. Is there an easy fix that might come close to the same texture/height?

I have a apartment in Bangalore and purchased it on loan from ICICI bank. So my questions if i plan to sell this how will the payment be made if the buyer also gets the loan from diff bank (HDFC or others) because ICICI will not give the original documents until we pay and without payment HDFC will not give loan to the buyer. Can anyone tell me how it works.

We rented the same place for almost 3 years, and during the split, some of the rent went behind. Now I am keeping the apartment and he wants to ditch the back rent and wants me to pay him for 1/2 the security deposit. Is this legal??

The renting is not a problem, it’s the furnishing that is.
