I have just purchased a first floor flat which is now rented out. There is terrible condensation at the window and mould growing on outside wall (inside). i have purchased a dehumidifier but it is it now helping much. what should I do??? help!!!!! It is a renovated barn with no wall cavity

So, I have this interview at this newly renovated upscale hookah lounge, the place has a beautiful bar along with Mediterranean food. I was planning on wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans with black pumps, and this really nice black long v neck fitted sweater with somewhat flairy sleeves which are about elbow length from the store guess, my hair will be flat ironed out and nice, and a nice pair of earrings.

Is that nice, or should I dress more like black pants and a white shirt type of thing, only because I don’t like wearing any sort of pants that are not fitted or skinny.

I feel like the outfit I’ve chosen fits my personality, it’s not revealing or would give a bad impression the first time.

My apartment flooded and repairs are to be made, Carpet, drywall, etc. They don’t have an empty unit to put us in and expect us to stay in the apartment while repairs are made. Neither are they willing to put us in a hotel. What are my rights? What are my chances of being released from my lease that I only have 2 months left on?

I did some minor damage to my apartment, which I fully intend to pay for. According to my lease a tenant either has the damage repaired or the apartment complex repairs it & the tenant pays them. I’ve arranged for a reliable handyman to repair the damage. Now, in talking with the apartment manager, I’ve been advised I should have notified them before contacting a handyman, even if I plan to repair the damage. When I look at my lease (and I did that before calling the handyman), I don’t read it that way. I read it that I’m to contact the apartment manager if I can’t or won’t repair the damage. I’m on a month to month arrangement and the manager wants to give me 30 days notice to vacate. I’ve been in the apt 10 years, always paid on time, and have had no other problems. What do I say to managers at other apartment places when I tell them why I’m looking?. I shouldn’t lie about why I’m leaving.
I would prefer to be up front with prospective landlords and/or apartment management companies and not wait to see if my current apartment manager tells them.

my sister landlord is completely repairing and renovaiting the Electic wiring inthe bilding .
breaking walls inside the apartments holes open for days dust , devree, lead, and some asbestos everywhere (it its a very old building) her children can not breath (she has 3) is hot and they can not use the AC. or Kitchen. I let her live in my apartment for 4 days but when she cameback home the repairs are still on &even rats were coming out . she wants to go to a hotel because of the living conditions until they finish the repairs . and also wants a inspector to check the bilding because it its dangerous for other families with babies and children living there.

Please friends from Yahoo can you tell me if it is legal for the lanlord to make mayor repairs while the tenats are still living there.if people go to a hotel who paid for it. I call 311 they just said make a complaint and wait. she leaves in 11 54 ward ave , bronx NY . Can anyone help thank you

Then doesn’t the person in that apartment have every right to break the lease and leave it not being in liveable conditions? My boss did this and now the apartment people called the collection agency, but seriously if it was about 100 degrees(texas) without a/c and that being an excuse, doesn’t the tenant have every right to leave? If not,what can be done of this? And what is it called if it is against the law

The Building Association says that I have to pay 50% and the Association pays the other 50% to repair his leak as the leak is affecting me, not him. I say that he has to pay 50% and the Association the other 50% to repair the leak as it is a problem on his property that is damaging my ceiling.

Repossession

My lovely cat has used the door frames of my apartment as scratching posts; I have to repair the damage without replacing the door frames and was wondering what could be done. I am not entirely sure that merely painting over the damage will do the trick since they are rather deep scratches.
