What happens at the end of a lease?

sell flat quick

I have just been given a 3 month lease by my land lord.
When this ends does it become a month-to-month tennancy?
Does he still have to give notice if he wants me to leave?
He says he may sell the flat at the end of those 3 months so i don’t know what to do.
He could find a buyer quickly or not and if it it’s quick can i just be throwen out?
There is nothing in the new lease gining any information about notice periods and the possible sell of the property.
when a lease ends do you have to move out or do you still have to be given notice 40 days before the end of the lease?

this is a quick emergency. i have to get a flat iron really really soon, but i still haven’t decided what to get. i did some research and found this conair flat iron that’s below 30 dollars. i am very inexperienced in this area and i need lots of help. i have inserted a link to london drugs (i live close to one) that sell a bunch of straighteners. can you please tell me which one is good, it doesn’t have to be conair, but it must be below 50 dollars. (by the way, i’m thinking of using the flat iron as a curler also, so i’m stressing about which size i should get, is 1-inch any good?) thank you so so so much!!!
(just check out all of the flat irons in the london drugs link.)

OK here goes….
I sell items on Ebay as well as have my own separate website that cover a wide variety of interests and tastes. My items vary from Costume Jewelry and Spiritual Jewelry, Incense, Candles, Clothing, Glass Lampwork beads as well as other beads and findings.

Yes, I am Wiccan by faith… so I do have items that I sell that are occult related, Well More Wiccan/Pagan related.
Obviously I am once again dealing with ignorance from Ebay buyers.

For those of you that dont know, When as auction has been won, It is a binding contract between seller and buyer.
Now she refuses to pay for it because of her “conscience”. That it just isnt right.

On a side note she had placed an additional order request with me for several pounds of beads, Then I got another email later that she saw an auction I had for something related to the occult, CD-ROM Book Of Shadows, both My own, and all the spells from Charmed. Plus some herbs, oils, nothing by any means “dark” do I carry in my stock.

I guess I am just fed up with Ignorance, and having people occasionally try to back out of sales simply due to different religious views…

Below is the email she just now sent me trying to explain why I should let her back out of the sale:

“re: 3/25/09
I received your email and I appreciate your reply however as I explained I am ‘not able’ to make the purchase due to my conscience. I was hoping that you would be more understanding. As I explained I love the beads I just cannot make a purchase when it is indirectly related to the occult. This is a matter of my conscience I have no choice in the matter. I really would appreciate your understanding just as you would want someone to be understanding for you. Would you not please reconsider? I am so very sorry for the inconvenience and I have meant no harm. I have been completely honest with you and truly wish this had never happened. I do not have a record of doing this and I am always quick to pay for my items. I have contacted eBay’s support team out of concern & they have advised me to try & reason with you.
It is not that I do not want to do what’s right, but this is a unique issue that requires understanding. Please reconsider. Thank you!”

OK, Now what is the best way to approach this lady? I have not been mean or hateful by any means, and she has not either…

I struggle for every dollar I make. And this was going to be a huge sale.
Just as someone would not like if a person, backed out of a sale because the Seller was Catholic and the Buyer Baptist…. It is flat out discrimination.
This is just absurd !!!!

I am at a loss as to what to say to her… I am out money already, as I had to pay listing fees, and Final Value fees upon completion of the auction… now the item she refuses to pay for.

Anyone have any ideas? So I am a practicing witch, specializing in Herbal mixtures, Aromatherapy Oils, Home Remedies, Custom blessings, Spiritual Counseling, Big Whoop !
I am very proud of who I am and my beliefs, there are so many different spiritual paths people take in life, and the majority of them all land us in the same place when all is said and done.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated….
Thanks,
Raven
DOUG - I didnt tell her I was Wiccan, she saw other items I had listed, such as metaphysical books, Jewelry, Oils, etc…

Repossession

sell flat quick

I bought a flat a few years ago, but over time got into serious financial difficulties, resulting in CCJs and eventually additional charges being placed on the flat. So on the flat I’ve currently got a mortgage, an additional borrowing loan and two further charges. I’ve been repaying what I owe to the two companies that have the charges (and maintaining the mortgage and loan payments), making monthly payments for over a year now, but is there any way I can sell the flat while its sale price doesn’t cover the amount of all that is secured on it? The sale price would cover the mortgage and loan, but not both of the charges. The alternative accommodation I’ve been offered (sharing with friends) would lead to smaller outgoings, which would enable me to pay back that what is owed in larger chunks and so much quicker.

I’m in better control of my finances now and am determined to pay off all that is owed!!!!

Thank you all for your help.

Repossession

sell flat quick

Hi. I am planning to sell a ring on ebay. The ring is a chunky plastic ring, so it’s not tiny, but it’s still small enough to fit (along with some newspaper or other insulating material) into a mini manila envelope. This will make the envelope bulge out– ie, not be flat.

I’m wondering: on the USPS website, they say that a “large” envelope must still be rectangular in shape, or else it becomes classified as a package (which is more expensive). If my envelope is well within the size constraints of the “large envelope” catalogue but is very fat/bulging in shape, does this qualift as “non-rectangular?”

Please do not guess– only reply if you have experience with this kind of shipping.

thanks!

Which way is the best?

sell flat quick

My sister is the legal guardian of my mother and needs to sell her house so she can use the money to fund my mother’s expenses of living in a retirement home. She is using this real-estate agency: www.assist2sell.com to sell my mother’s house. Would you recommend using this type of agency which charges a flat-fee for selling houses? If they charge a flat-fee then they will not have the incentive to try to get the most money for the house because they get the same amount of money no matter what it is sold for to others? I think using a real-estate agency that gets a percent of the selling price would be the best way to go about it. They will try to get the most for the house because the more they sell it for then the more they make. The assist2sell incentive would be to sell it as quick as possible at a lower price so they can collect their money and be done with putting time and effort into selling it. They don’t care about getting a good price for the house. Which is the best way to go?
